1920s cinema chairs
Pair of early 20th century cinema chairs that came out of The Abbey Theatre, Battle in East Sussex. Theses are a middle row pair with its original material and a hard worn life can be seen. The chairs are supported by 3 cast iron legs, which are screwed to the back rests and the middle later added supports. The pine base is not needed but has been added for stability on moving them. They are very practical and great for a hall way or entrance to take those muddy boots off then the chairs fold up and are out the way again. Please check our images carefully. Over all in good working condition and a great looking and practical piece of furniture.
